1 tub of firm tofu
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/4 cup onion, minced
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 tablespoon cream cheese
Instruction
- Drain and rinse the tofu and set aside.
- Heat the oil in a frying pan and saute the onion for a few minutes until it starts to clear.
- Add the soy sauce and tumeric and mix with the onion.
- Crumble the tofu into the onion mixture and stir to coat it with the seasonings.
- Cook few a few minutes until the tofu looses some of its moisture. Scrape the bottom of the pan occasionally so that it does not stick.
- Reduce the heat and add the cream cheese. Stir until the cream cheese has melted and coated the tofu.
- Serve while hot.
